Brian Floca Visits Stonehouse!

Stonehouse was treated to a fantastic visit from author/illustrator Brian Floca on October 16th. Mr. Floca has won numerous awards for his work, most notably the 2014 Caldecott Medal for his book Locomotive. He did an amazing job inspiring our students as he showed how his work starts as an idea on a piece of paper and gets transformed into a published book. We thank him for sharing with us. A special thank you goes out to our own Mrs. Picard, who won this author visit through the Williamsburg Area Reading Council.
