During March 2-March 20, 2015, Stonehouse Elementary School participated in the Pennies for Patients Fundraiser. The school raised $3,691.45. Ms. Gossman and Mrs. Tremblay’s class raised the most money. Thank you parents, students, and staff for supporting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Here’s a peek into Literacy Workshop in Mrs. Carmon’s Kindergarten class. They recently finished their”Three Little Pig” unit and have created several artifacts to take home for reading and discussion homework. In the photos you see students working on the story map of their choice to illustrate characters, setting, problem, and solution. Three Little Aliens and the Big Bad Robot was the most popular! The students used the book (and their classmates) as resources to check and reflect on their work. Way to go Mrs. Carmon’s class!
