Jumpstart’s Read for the Record campaign mobilizes millions of people to celebrate literacy by participating in the largest shared reading experience. The event takes place on October 27th as we read together in big cities, small towns, and everywhere in between to put children first by shining a spotlight on the importance of high-quality early education.  At Stonehouse K-2 students paired with 3-5 students to not only enjoy the book, The Bear Ate My Sandwich by Julia Sarcone Roach, but also to read with a buddy or complete an activity.  We registered over 780 readers for the national campaign.
