Williamsburg-James City County Schools employees make a tremendous impact on students, families and colleagues every single day. They offer a helping hand, a word of encouragement, or a little guidance. The school division will be celebrating these heroes later this spring and you can help.
“Our guiding theme for the year has been Hope, which is the heart of education,” says Dr. Olwen Herron, Superintendent, “I know that in every school and office throughout our division, our staff helps others reach their hopes. I like to call them, WJCC Schools Heroes of Hope, and we are taking an opportunity to recognize some of them this spring.”
The division is seeking nominations for WJCC Schools Heroes of Hope, an honor that will be bestowed upon one employee from each school, the Bright Beginnings Preschool program, the division’s Operations team and Central Office. Those Heroes will be surprised and recognized during WJCC Schools’ spring Employee Appreciation Week in early May.
Nominate a WJCC Schools employee by visiting wjccschools.org/heroesofhope until midnight April 5.
