WJCC Program for Gifted Students

The Williamsburg-James City County Program for Gifted Students provides services for formally identified gifted students in grades K-12.

The screening for rising 5th grade students will begin in February.  Referrals of current 4th graders can be made by a parent, teacher, or staff member.  Referred students will be screened for eligibility for gifted content specific courses (5th gr. language arts and/or mathematics).  Referrals are for those students who have not been tested within 1 year. All referral forms are due February 1, 2019.

If you are interested in learning more about this program, would like to discuss your child and the assessment process, or would like to receive a referral form, please contact David Poon, Gifted Resource Teacher by phone at 566-4300, or by email at norman.poon@wjccschools.org.
