WJCC Program for Gifted Students

The Williamsburg-James City County Program for Gifted Students provides services for formally identified gifted students in grades K-12.  Screening for rising 5th grade students will begin in March.  Referrals can be made by a parent, teacher, other staff member, or self.  Referred 4th grade students will be screened for eligibility for gifted language arts and/or mathematics (6th grade math curriculum during 5th grade).  If you are interested in learning more about this program, would like to discuss your child and the assessment process, or would like to receive a referral form, please contact David Poon, Stonehouse Elementary Gifted Resource Teacher. He can be reached by phone at 566-4300, or by email at norman.poon@wjccschools.org.

Parent requests for screening are due by March 11th.
