  • Head out to Chipotle today from 2:00 until 9:00PM to raise fund for prom! Just mention Warhill when you pay.
  • Warhill Spirit Night at Chick-Fil-A on Mooretown Road Wednesday night presented by the Freshman Class.  Join the Freshman Class officers and enjoy some delicious Chick-Fil-A from 5-8 pm on Wednesday.  20% of the proceeds go to the Freshman Class!   Be sure to mention the WHS Freshman Class when making your order!
  • The Athletic Director is accepting applications for “Student Assistant”.  Any rising senior interested in being a paid member of the staff, is interested in athletics, can work independently and follow instructions, and has great computer skills and loves photography is eligible to apply. Applications are available from Mr. Mullen in the Athletic Director’s Office (room 1400).  Applications are due by Friday, April 28!

Daily Announcements 3/15/2017

  • Students: Friday, March 17th is a half day for students and Warhill will follow the standard early release schedule with no lunches served and no AEP block. All students (including seniors) will need to report to first block class at 7:20 on Friday.
  • The NAACP ACT-SO is sponsoring a local academic competition.

This competition has no GPA requirements and students can choose from 32 different competition categories, including STEM, humanities, dance, poetry, drawing, biology, entrepreneurship, oratory, singing, and many more!

Students who excel at the local competition will go on to compete at the National Competition held in Baltimore, MD on July 20-23, 2017. All-expenses paid!

The deadline for completing and returning the application is Friday, March 24th

  • Congratulations to 3rd Block Warhill Honors Orchestra for nine consecutive superior ratings!

Warhill Honors Orchestra kept the tradition in place by earning a superior rating from the judges at the District VIII Virginia Band and Orchestra Association Assessment Festival held at Passage Middle School in Newport News Virginia on Saturday, March 11, 2017. Congratulations to Warhill’s 2nd Block Orchestra Class, they also earned a superior rating from the judges at the District VIII Virginia Band and Orchestra Association Assessment Festival held at Passage Middle School in Newport News Virginia on Saturday.

  • In recognition of Women’s History Month, the Media Center invites you to stop by and play “Do You Know These Women?” Simply pick up a form and match the number of the trailblazing woman’s picture with her name and contribution to American society. See how many you know and check out the women in history book display while you are there.
  • Today is the last day to sign-up for the Senior trip to Six Flags. Deposits are being collected during all three lunches and after school in Room 2231.
