· Interested in finding out about a day in life of a police office? Would you like to learn how police officers investigate crime scenes? Contact Officer Niranont for more information on the James City County Police Department’s Explorers program. .

· Hey Warhill, are you interested in joining a new club where you can do Bible Studies and meet new people? If so, come join “IMPACT” every Thursday after school at 2:30 in Room 2106.

· There will be a Rho Kappa Honors Society meeting for all members, afterschool, on Tuesday, October 3rd in room 1138.

· Attention Warhill Students & Staff!! This week we have several home athletic events that you do not want to miss.

Today – our Lady Lions VB team is back in action hosting Grafton with JV at 5:30 followed by Varsity at 6:30

Friday – Homecoming Football Game!! Lions host the Islanders of Poquoson at Wanner Stadium with kickoff at 7pm. Student tickets will be on sale on Thursday, Sept 28 during all three lunches. Student’s prices will be $3.00 and limit 2 tickets per student.

Students, make sure you get your Student Season Pass so that you can attend all the Lions home games for just $30.00!! See Coach Mullen for more information.

· There will be an interest meeting for the Diversity Club on Thursday, September 28th during AEP in Lecture Hall A. For more information about the Diversity Club and our activities, follow us on Twitter at WHS_Diversity. We believe in Pride Over Prejudice.

· There will be a Scholastic Bowl meeting today, after school in Room 2232. Scholastic Bowl is a VHSL sport that allows you to show off your smarts. Come to this information meeting and find out more. All are welcome.

· There will be a National Honor Society meeting for all members after school today in Room 1100. All members are required to attend. If you have a practice or other obligation, then please contact Dr. Mihaly directly for more information.

First, our Lady Lions Field Hockey teams will host the Islanders of Poquoson at Wanner Stadium with Varsity at 3pm, followed by JV at 4:30pm.

Then our Lady Lions Volleyball team will host cross-town rival, the Eagles of Jamestown, with JV squaring off at 5:30pm followed by Varsity.

The nightcap will be the JV Football team will host the Panthers of Bruton at Wanner Stadium with a kickoff set for 6:30pm

All events are $5.00 at the gate.

Learn to be a great leader while making a real impact through Chick-fil-A Leader Academy. See Mr. Throupe for a spot in Chick-fil-A Leader Academy in your school this year.
