* At this weekends CNU winter frolic track and field meet Anthony Giacchetta placed 5th in the pole vault with a 13 feet clearance a new school record and state qualifying mark Also Jacqueline Jones placed 3rd in the long jump with a new school record leap of 16-9.25 and state qualifying mark. Congratulation!

* Calling all Juniors and Seniors that ordered a Class Ring from Balfour for the 2018-2019 school year.

Rings will be here on Wednesday, December 19th. We will hold a ring ceremony starting at 11:30 in the auditorium for those who have paid for full.

Please note, rings will only be delivered to those who have paid in full.

Light refreshments will be served.

The Collection date will be December 18th.
• Model United Nations is holding a fundraising dinner on Monday, December 17th. Carrabbas Italian Restaurant will be hosting. Tickets are $15.00 and can be purchased in Room 2232 from Ms. Scully. Come enjoy a jolly holiday dinner and then attend the Warhill Winter Holiday Concert!

• Please consider volunteering to donate blood here at Warhill to help save lives on Tuesday December 18th in the auditorium. 1 pint of blood can save as many as three lives. Sign up to donate blood and receive details during all three lunches!

* IMPACT club will meet before school on Tuesday at 7:00 in room 1130 for a time of inspirational Bible study and prayer. We meet every Tuesday. Feel free to drop by.

* German Club will be hosting a gingerbread house making competition today in room 1130 from 2:30- 3:30. There may even be some yodeling.

* Due to the inclement weather, Science National Honor Society Inductions are postponed until after break. A new date will be announced as soon as possible. See Mr. Betzner in room 2143 with any questions or concerns.

Employment Certificate (Work Permit) Automated Application Process. The Department of Labor and Industry announces the launch of an automated, employment certificate process in accordance with the General Assembly changes to §40.1-92 of the Code of Virginia effective July 1, 2013. * Tis the season for giving Warhill! Here is your opportunity to give back to families in our community. Please support Warhill’s National Honor Society by donating canned food and non-perishable food items in the A.P. Office, Media Center, Commons, Front Office, or Room 1138 until December 14!

* Are you interested in playing either JV or Varsity Boys Soccer for Warhill this year? If you’ve already signed up…cool! If you haven’t signed up yet…you need to sign up in Room 2106 between now and Friday, December 7th.

* “Warhill Boys’ Soccer will have soccer conditioning today and Thursday of this week. Conditioning will be held on the grass fields at the WISC and will begin at 3:30 and end at 4:45. All soccer players interested in playing for Warhill this year are encouraged to attend. You must have a current physical in order to participate. Please bring a soccer ball to conditioning.”
