Six Warhill students are headed to Houston for the NASA Hunch Finals. Each year the students who participate take on design challenges that NASA is facing and work to find solutions to these challenges. Students complete research, design prototypes, 3-D print their prototypes, and complete testing. Depending on the outcome of their testing and research they will often re-design their solutions to incorporate the new data. These six students have worked since the beginning of the year to tackle the challenge of figuring out a material that would allow for 3-D printed medical instruments that could be sterilized and/or recycled and made into other needed medical instruments.
