College & Career Center Information

The College & Career Center (Room 1126) is staffed by Career Coach, Mrs. Lindley, who is available to help any student with career or college planning.  Students who wish to use resources in the College & Career Center or want to meet with Mrs. Lindley should make an appointment through email or by filling out a Career Coach Request form.  Request forms are located on Mrs. Lindley’s office door (Room 1126).  Career Coach hours vary.

Attention Students!  

  • WJCC Workforce Scholarships
    Due Date Extended Through September, 2019

    Students in the Foundation’s service area planning to attend college or technical school toward a certificate or associates degree in automotive technology, CAD, electronics, heating & air-conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation, manufacturing, mechanical engineering, mechatronics & machining, or plumbing may apply. Scholarships are available to current graduating high school seniors from W-JCC High Schools. Additionally applicants may be recent high school graduates or veterans who live in Williamsburg, James City County or the Bruton District of York County and can provide a high school transcript.

    Applications may be submitted through September of 2019. They will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

    Each scholarship will be for a maximum of $1,000. It may be spread over two semesters, but must be used within one year of being awarded.

  • Looking for a job?    ATCO Industrial Fasteners, Inc. is a local industrial fasteners company (Toano) looking to hire an entry level, part-time or full-time delivery driver and warehouse associate. We prize speed and accuracy above all else, so we require an employee who can pay careful attention on the job, follow instructions precisely and double-check his or her work before completing a task. Valid driver’s license required. We are open Monday through Friday 7:30am-4:00pm. Daily tasks to include filling orders, making local deliveries, stocking shelves, unloading deliveries, and organizing the warehouse.
