Career Assessments

The following career assessments are offered to students at no cost.  It is strongly recommended that students make an appointment with their or counselor or career coach to discuss results from any assessment!

Career One Stop – Quick interest assessment that only takes 5 minutes.  Learn about careers that might be best for you!  Sponsored by the U.S. Dept. of Labor.

Virginia Education Wizard – Students can take interest, skills and values assessments.  The Wizard contains a number of tools to help users explore careers, plan education, pay for college and much more.  Students can take the assessment on-line at home.  Warhill students can also take the assessment with the career coach in Room 1124.

ASVAB Career Exploration Program– A comprehensive career planning program that includes a multiple-aptitude test battery, an interest inventory, and various career planning tools.  This assessment measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military.  The ASVAB is offered at your high school each year.  Please see your counselor for the next scheduled date.

Dream It Do It Virginia – Create a free on-line account to learn about yourself, the employment options available to you, and the training that will prepare you.  This career resource was built by Virginia’s advanced technology sector to help you learn more about exciting fields and future employment.
