Stephanie Vermeire is a 15 year veteran of education serving in the roles of Social Studies teacher and Assistant Principal in King William and Gloucester counties before coming to Warhill as a School Improvement Specialist in 2019-2020. Stephanie has always known she wanted to be a teacher and after several years in the high school classroom her drive to do more for students and be challenged as a professional led her to a Masters degree in Educational Leadership from the George Washington University. Her favorite part of the job is having a positive impact on other people—from a smile in the morning to ensuring a student has the supports necessary to have a successful high school career. As a William and Mary graduate, Williamsburg has always held a special place in her heart and the division’s high expectations and consistent excellence drew her to Williamsburg-James City County Public Schools. She’s excited to be part of the Pride!
