ANNOUNCEMENTS

9/21/2018

* There will be an interest meeting for Mu Alpha Theta, Warhill’s National Math Honor Society, for all current and prospective members on Monday, October 1st, during AEP in Lecture Hall A. Please see Mrs. Boone in room if you have any questions.

* Any students interested in wrestling at Wahrill this year, please plan to attend an informational meeting Tuesday, September 25, in coach Lish’s room (2229), during AEP.

* There will be an interest meeting for anyone interested in swimming for the Lions this upcoming winter season. The meeting will be on Thursday, September 27 at 2:30 in Room 1504.

* There will be a softball information and interest meeting on Tuesday, September 25, at 2:30 in room 1504.

* Sno-To-Go will sponsor Warhill Orchestra this Saturday, September 22 from noon to 9PM. Eat at Sno-To-Go on Saturday to support our fundraiser.

* Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors:

Underclass pictures will be taken through English and history classes on Monday the 24 and Tuesday the 25. If you do not have an English or history class this semester, check the schedules hanging around school for your photo time.

* Seniors: The last chance for senior pictures in November 9. Please see Mrs. Maclauchlan in 2124 to set up an appointment.

* Nominate your friends for homecoming court next Tuesday through Thursday during lunch. There will be Prince and Princess Nominations.

* Today’s athletic event:

Volleyball at Tabb High School at 5:30 and 6:30.

Matthew Lichtel, WHS Internet Technology Resource Teacher (ITRT), will be available in the Media Center      6:00 – 8:00 pm to assist with ParentVUE access and user questions.

Back-to-School Night gives our families the opportunity to learn more about their students’ courses, teachers, and routines.

If you have multiple students at WHS, please contact your students’ teachers, and they can relay information to you.

Parents can schedule individual conferences with teachers to discuss their student’s learning progress, strengths, and other topics.

Warhill High School will host Parent Conference Night on October 16th from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

Warhill To Host College Information Sessions

Warhill will host several college information sessions in the upcoming months. These sessions are for junior and senior students (only).  Students may register to attend sessions using the following link.  https://form.jotform.com/joyceedwards/whs-college-information-session-reg

A/B Day Schedule

Student Parking Permit Applications Now Available

Students must have a parking permit to drive/park in the Warhill Student Parking lot.

Completed parking applications, along with outstanding fees and all other required documentation, should be returned to the Assistant Principals’ Office before driving to school.

Fees:  

  • The cost is $50.00 per semester. Students must pay for the Fall semester, and renew passes at a cost of $50.00 for the Spring semester.  Students may pay for the entire year in the Fall ($100.00)
  • There is no cost for students enrolled in credit-bearing cooperative work/education programs that incorporate early release from school, or students who attend approved credit-bearing classes at another WJCC high school during the school day where transportation is not provided.  
  • ALL STUDENTS WHO DRIVE TO SCHOOL MUST COMPLETE AND SUBMIT AN APPLICATION

* Seniors: If you received a red notice about library books or textbooks, please follow up by speaking to your teacher about textbooks and the librarians about library books. If you have a red notice, your account is not clear!

* Attention All Spring Athletes – the Spring Sports Awards Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, June 12 at 6:30pm with the Booster Club providing refreshments. All Spring athletes and parents are invited to attend. Please contact your coach if you are unable to make it.
